The Society of Women Engineers is a non-profit educational, service organization dedicated to making known the need for women engineers and encouraging young women to consider an engineering education. The Richmond Area Section includes all of central Virginia such as Richmond, Petersburg, and Charlottesville.
The Richmond Area section, along with the VCU student section, will be hosting the SWE Region E conference, March 7-9, 2008 at the VCU School of Engineering's new building.
