BECOME A SPONSOR TODAY!

SWE solicits funds annually to support the following activities. This list is not intended to be all inclusive but rather gives a representative listing of activities Richmond SWE has previously sponsored.

1. Contribute to an annual $1,000 scholarship to a local female high school senior who will be attending an accredited college engineering program.
2. Assist local student SWE sections.
3. Support of the Richmond Joint Engineers Council.
4. Subsidize, when appropriate, monthly SWE meetings.
5. Reimburse travel expenses, when appropriate, for members to attend regional or national meetings.

The Scholarship funds are independent of the Sections day-to-day operating account. Unless designated otherwise by the sponsoring organization, at least 50% of all sponsorships will be used to support the Scholarship program. This formula will be followed until such time as a sufficient reserve is established to endow an annual $1,000 scholarship program (required reserves estimated to be $25,000. We are on our way with several thousand dollars!).

Duration of Sponsor Benefits: Benefits are active for the fiscal year in which the donation was received (July 1 through June 30).

Sponsor Benefits: The following levels of support and their corresponding benefits.

• Platinum- For >/= $2,000 cash or equivalent services your company gets:

· Credit for 2 employees to attend the annual RJEC Engineer’s Banquet.

· Listing and link from Richmond SWE's website to Sponsor's website.

· Complementary advertisement in all Richmond SWE publications (newsletter issued approximately 4x/yr).

· Opportunity to display recruitment materials at SWE sponsored events.

· Complementary job postings on SWE-Richmond Section website.
